Priceless!!

One of the best sights I have ever seen happened on Saturday at the Senior home game.

Three very excited young junior players volunteered to be ball boys for Saturdays A Garde game against University. After giving them instructions to follow Mr Johnson, (Richard our U10 Coach) the Linesman, and stay with him during the game the boys took the field. They followed their instructions to the fullest, even to the point that when Richard was called on to make a report to the referee in the middle of the game on an incident, they went with him (I am sure to confirm Richards assessment of the matter). It would have to be one of the most priceless moments to see the Referee, Linesman and three 7/8 years olds all having a discussion in the middle of field during a match, whilst 30 burly A Grade players awaited the outcome.

Wish I had a camera!

The best news of it all is that they are keen to come to the next home game to do it all again, I can't wait.
