Senior Results vs Gympie

What a great day Saturday turned out to be in front of our Sponsors! All teams posted wins.

The day began with a good win to our Womens team against Noosa to the tune of 47-7. Strong games by Liz Lawrie & Leonie Murray paved the way to a big day. Noosa were down on players and the game was played as 8 a side match. Player points went 3 points to Liz Lawrie, 2 points to Kate Manning & Leonie Murray & 1 point to Alita Kilto.

B grade  came away with a win 37-27 wth Ben Wieczorek scoring 5 tries! The game had Coach Gary Cossart pulling his hair out as the score kept see sawing between the 2 teams. Fortunately the boys put it together late in the second half and finished the job well.

A Grade benefited by the expierience of Adam Graveson and Tom Bird from the Stingrays who joined us (the Stingrays had a bye this weekend) for the game. They lifted our back line to a higher level and they cut loose. 9 tries were scored, with 7 of them coming through the backs. The forwards toiled well and produced some clean ball for the backs to weave their magic. A great effort from the boys... look out Uni this weekend.......
